Standing at the Door

Did you know that in Strawberry Baptist Association our churches have a combined membership in excess of 12,000? That's a lot of Baptists, and this doesn't take into account the many more Baptists who have moved here but have never become involved in a local church!

The Thing in the Spring

On Saturday, April 17 all youth are invited to bring lots of friends to Trinity Baptist in Bedford as we celebrate "The Thing in the Spring Youth Party". We begin at 10:00am and will wind down by about 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. There will be bands, guest speakers, field games, up front games, a Hula-hoop contest, limbo contest, and a cookout. Be forewarned, the games could get a bit messy, so dress accordingly!

Begin now to invite friends at school and in the community. We are going to have a great time!

Focus On Our Family

April 4-7, Big Island will have revival services, beginning with the morning worship service and then each evening at 7 p.m. The evangelist is Dr. John Adams, Easley, S.C. We are pleased to have his wife, Donna, and their son, Joshua, with us too.

The Puppet Ministry has been busy since January with six visits to area nursing homes.

The church recently sent medical supplies of rolled sheet bandages, old offering envelopes and light weight baby clothes to Georgia enroute to Africa.

The Community Sunrise Service will be at 7 a.m. in the Prayer Garden at the Big Island Cemetery. At 11 a.m., the adult choir will present the Easter Cantata, Worthy is the Lamb, with an Easter message by Pastor Bryon LePere.
