Strawberry Celebrates Missions

What do you have when you bring together 22 missionaries from more than ten countries, 14 churches, and 165 wonderful people? A Strawberry Baptist On Mission Celebration! On May 4-5 our Association was privileged to be able to rally around the theme taken from Psalm 2:7-8, "The Nations, Christ's Inheritance." The theme focused on making us aware of the great needs in the many unevangelized fields around the world, especially the unreached people groups found in what is commonly referred to as the 10/40 Window.

How to Develop A Youth Ministry (Part 8)

Retreats and trips
Besides the regular week to week activities of the youth ministry, the youth minister may want to plan special retreats or road trips. Occasionally there are regional or national youth conferences or emphases. Much attention and great care must go into the planning for these activities, because travel always introduces a whole different set of considerations.
