Reaching Out to the World

Strawberry Baptist Association now has its own Website at ""! We invite you to drop by, check out the useful information, and share our address with others.

This site is designed with “Internet evangelism” in mind. You will quickly discover that there are many pages and links that are not directly related to our associational ministry. That is by design. We are striving to provide general information that unchurched people will be interested in.

Local Mission Opportunity

There is before us a mission opportunity to a sizable group of local Hispanics. Many do not yet speak English, and they have asked about English classes. Bedford Baptist has graciously offered the use of their facilities for the classes, but we are in need of volunteers who can offer several hours a week to teach ESL (English as a Second Language).

Annual Meeting Reminders!

Folks need to get their Messenger cards from their church clerk by the middle of October. (If the clerk doesn’t have the card, see your pastor.) Elected messengers should fill in their names before arriving at the registration desk—it saves time for everyone. Visitors will register on arrival.

Cost of the meal (catered by Country Kitchen of Christiansburg) is $8.50 per person. Make checks payable to Mentow Baptist Church.
